Description
From the heart of Jerusalem, this collection was born to revive the story of Jafra from Palestinian heritage.
It is made of three oil perfumes that evoke the scent of homeland. Each one tells its own story, leaving a memory that never fades.
They are kept in a hand-crafted wooden box made from Palestinian olive trees, from the heart of Bethlehem.
Each piece of wood carries its own signature, making every box a unique piece.
The box is engraved with the keffiyeh pattern, a symbol of our identity, and a key like the one Jafra kept close to her heart —
the key to home and memory.

The Story Behind The Scent
Jafra is not just a name…
She is a Palestinian love story — a quiet strength and a beauty that endures. Her memory lives through time in songs and poems, between villages and cities, never to be erased.
Today, Jafra returns through Méjana in three perfume bottles, created to be more than a scent. An intimate journey into the heart of the homeland and history — the smell of soil and rain, old houses, ancient streets, and the memory that lives within us.
Jafra was never a story of the past. She is a presence, waiting to be remembered.
Jafra has returned…
to gather fading memories and breathe their scent into life.
Ingredients
Coffee Tobacco
The scent of home and the nearby café, and the smell of my grandfather returning from work.
Dark coffee over a gentle flame, warm tobacco mixed with saffron and jasmine, resting on vanilla and cashmere musk.
"Coffee has long been part of Jerusalem’s daily life — brewed slowly, shared quietly, and passed from one generation to the next. It carries the rhythm of old streets, morning rituals, and conversations that begin with a cup and stay in the heart".
Oud Saffron
A deep and steady scent — like the earth when it holds tight to its roots and refuses to break.
A blend of oud, sandalwood, and cedar, blended with saffron and lotus, and finished with a soft touch of berries and cocoa.
"For Palestinians, the olive tree is more than a tree — it is a symbol of roots, patience, and belonging. Like this scent, it stands firm through time, holding the land together and refusing to be uprooted".
Vanilla Amber
The scent of first closeness, the laugh before words, and the smell of my grandmother while she bakes.
The warmth of vanilla and the sweetness of amber, wrapped in hints of jasmine and rose.
"In Palestinian homes, the grandmother’s house is where the family gathers — where stories are shared, laughter fills the room, and time slows down. It is the place where warmth is learned first, and love is passed quietly from one generation to the next."
